What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is an enormous global community built around creativity and creative projects like mine. Kickstarter helps authors, designers, artists and other creators find the support they need to make their idea a reality. In other words, it’s like a Go Fund Me website but for projects.
The way Kickstarter works is all or nothing. If my project reaches its goal, I will provide my backers with their selected “rewards” by September 2019. If my project is not fully funded by the end of the 60 day campaign, Kickstarter won't charge any credit card provided.
My Kickstarter campaign launched on February 1st and ended on April 2, 2019. My goal was to raise $5,000 in 60 days and we reached $5,910! These monies will help me cover the cost of publishing my book and do some advertising. There are many intricate parts in making a project like this come to fruition, and with your help I can make this possible.
